Work — GPS — Global Public Services · Retail, shop and management
Connecting sales, stock and management.
An online shop that prepares the order, a counter that keeps track of stock and figures.

Screenshots from October 29, 2026. The Comptoir screens are from its demo mode: sample data, flagged as such in the interface. The shop screens are from the live site.
Context
GPS — "the service that reassures" — sells phones, earphones, headsets, chargers, accessories, watches, perfumes, glasses and shoes, and offers money transfer. An online shop and a physical shop, with pickup or delivery.
The challenge
An order is prepared on WhatsApp, stock moves in the shop and at the counter, and the team don't all have the same rights: keeping one truth between the storefront, the stock and the figures.
Our contribution
Design and development of the public site and of the Comptoir GPS management tool, launch.
The decisions that held the project together.
01
No online payment, and the site says so
The customer builds their order, GPS confirms it on WhatsApp. Opening WhatsApp is neither sending, confirmation nor reservation: the site explains this.
02
Stock rules written and tested
The cart and WhatsApp reserve nothing; confirmation reserves; handover removes the stock; cancellation releases it. The database refuses to reserve more than the physical stock.
03
Three levels of rights
Owner (all rights), manager (no costs or settings), seller (sales, orders, customers) — checked on the server side.
04
A Comptoir organised like a working day
Steer, operate, develop; a keyboard command palette (Ctrl/⌘ + K) to jump to a product, an order or a customer.
05
A history that doesn't rewrite itself
Names, options and prices are frozen in each order line: changing the catalogue changes nothing in the past.

What the site does, verified in the code

- Search by name, brand, reference and category; filters and sorting shareable in the URL.
- Product page
- Gallery and zoom, variants with availability, quantity, WhatsApp question.
- Cart and prepared order
- Cart kept on the device; prices and stock rechecked by the server; WhatsApp message with references, quantities, reception and contact details.
- Quick counter sale
- Cash, Wave, Orange Money, other mobile money, transfer, card; mixed and partial payment, change given.
- WhatsApp requests
- Each cart creates a request to confirm, file or answer in the Comptoir.
- Stock
- Physical, reserved, unsellable, available; restocking by batch, inventory, history.
- Management
- Daily counters, dashboard, reports; some amounts reserved for the owner and managers.
